Shot on a retro golfing camera, Dovetail is an elevation an alternative queer lifestyle to the big screen in striking 35mm. The photo-montage form of the film displays the fragments of an incomplete life. Drawing stylistic inspiration from Chris Marker’s La Jetée and with a plot bordering on the autobiographical, this film captures the club-light-soaked, dilapidated, beauty of my queer experience.

This work was exhibited at the 2025 MAFF: Contrast screening at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston.
